Meranti - Nemesu

Meranti (Nemesu) is one of three distinct Meranti subspecies we offer. Nemesu’s color ranges from dark brown to reddish brown, and as it ages it acquires a beautiful silvery patina (unless a UV protectorate is applied). Harvested in Malaysia, Nemesu is used for boatbuilding and millwork, and window and door applications. It machines easily and glues, stains and paints well. Nemesu is comparable to Sipo and Sapele in color, stability & durability.
