No matter if one is designing a small, private dock or a large, public boardwalk, OHC’s exotic hardwoods are the ideal decking material. Thanks to their long lifespan, exotic hardwoods are a wise economical choice, and compared to the harsh chemicals used in Treated Pine (a typical boardwalk material) they’re a wise environmental choice. For the most attractive, longest lasting boardwalk or dock, take advantage of our know-how and unrivaled decking products.
Our team travels to Brazil every quarter and has developed personal relationships with our suppliers to ensure that OHC only buys from mills that follow responsible and legal harvesting practices. Our routine trips enable OHC to buy at the right times and the best possible prices.
OHC dictates how our suppliers package and ship hardwood decking to us. We also unload and inspect our own container shipments to avoid damage caused by port facilities. Our highly trained teams inspect every shipment to verify quantity, grade and quality meet our exacting standards.
OHC manufactures custom, high performance products in our own manufacturing facilities. We use Woods and Leadermac moulders, specialty trim and rip saws, table shapers, sanders and routers. OHC can machine hardwoods for almost any commercial or residential application imaginable.
