Our Wenge is harvested in Central Africa and is commonly used in Millwork products such as paneling, furniture, turned objects, and musical instruments. It is very durable and has good termite resistance. Wenge’s heartwood is medium brown, sometimes with a reddish or yellowish hue, with nearly black streaks. With the application of a wood finish, the wood can become nearly black.
