High Performance Plywood

We constantly strive to have the best performing product from the best suppliers. Our commitment to quality is so great that we often develop unique sourcing programs to meet the just-in-time inventory demand for each customer. Our high performance Apitong/Keruing hardwood is unparalleled: it’s stronger and more beautiful to the end user, even in an industrial application.

100% Apitong/Keruing vs. Apitong Facing

It’s possible to find “Apitong plywood” at a lower price, but it’s often sub-par Apitong facing plywood. It’s lighter weight, weaker, and more prone to delamination. For maximum cost effectiveness, 100% Apitong/Keruing plywood is best. Any savings from the cheaper product are lost when repairs and lifespan are considered.

Additional benefits to imported hardwoods:

  • High rot resistance
  • Natural resistance to wood-boring insects
  • Longer lifespan
  • Low maintenance material
  • Proven performance in extreme climates

Van Liners   Container Flooring

Our products have a personal touch.

We don’t leave anything up to chance. That’s why our executives and team members personally travel to Southeast Asia periodically to visit mills, inspect harvesting practices, and establish relationships. In fact, our purchasing procedures include Chain of Custody documentation with every shipment.

We ship anywhere in the United States.

From Southeast Asia to your company’s doorstep, we handle all of the logistics in between. Our Apitong / Keruing is unloaded and inspected by our team as soon as it arrives in the Port of Mobile, then transported directly to our Stockton manufacturing facility to avoid excessive damage.

You design it. We machine it.

You can rely on us to make any pattern or profile you require. Our 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility allows us to custom mill any species from 4’ to 55’ long and almost any thickness and width. From ripping to drilling to finger-jointing, we have your project covered.

As the Chinese Plywood Tariffs lurk closer, OHC sighs in relief. On September 27, 2012 an unfair trade petition was filed against the United States for importing Hardwood Plywood from China at less than cost. This is known as “dumping.” Most recently on April 30th, 2013, the United States Department of…
