John has over three decades of experience in the lumber business having worked for three different hardwood lumber distributors during that time. He also plays music professionally as the saxophone player for his band “The Wiseguys.” John has developed an extensive knowledge of the business over the years and is a valuable addition to our millwork division.
Randy started working in the lumber industry in 1984 and has worked in all aspects of the industry from purchasing standing timber to selling finished products, and everything in between.
Born in Missouri, Bob has lived in Kansas for the last 52 years. Bob has been working in the lumber industry since 1976 and even sold lumber to the Prime Minister of Japan for his own personal aircraft.
Joey enjoys tailgating with his wife and kids at LSU football games and supporting Tigers baseball. In his spare time he is an avid SEC sports fanatic, loves cooking gourmet meals, gardening, watching live music, hunting, fishing, and helping others that are in a time of need.
A North Carolina Native, Tom really enjoys the beach, surfing and boating. He and his three boys are involved in Boy Scouts and enjoy camping and hiking.
A believer that lumber products are an essential necessity to communities, Pat enjoys educating customers and potential customers on the benefits of OHC’s products. He spends his free time with his fiancé and Labrador, in a variety of outdoor activities. You can always find Pat around family activities or watching Wisconsin sports teams, on tv. Go Pack!
A true Wisconsin native, Lynn is a die hard Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fan. She and her husband spend enjoy spending their free time with their four children and extended family. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys knitting.
In his over three decade career in wholesale lumber business, Roger has held many positions from mill operator to truck driver to mill foreman and now sales. Aside from vacationing with his wife and two children, he can also be found hunting or fishing in the great outdoors.
Ben originally joined the team at TimberTown Austin as the self-proclaimed “Marketing Guy.” He loves taking on new challenges and implementing new strategies in the world of marketing and advertising. He’s also developed a love for architectural photography and enjoys any chance to fly a drone around a project. Ben stays busy at home with his wife and their newly adopted daughter (3) and foster son (1).
Prior to OHC, Brenda spent 15 years in international banking, managing import/export trade for SouthTrust Bank N.A. She teaches 2nd grade Sunday School and enjoys volunteer work with local organizations. She savors road trips with her family and spends time with her rescue cat.
Fernando is originally from Eagle Pass, Texas. He is bilingual and has worked for Angelina Hardwoods/OHC for over 20 years as Yard Manager. On the weekends he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and other family and friends.
Mike is the third generation in his family to work in the sawmill industry and has 28 years of experience. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 21 years, three children and friends. His hobbies include building race cars and cooking out.
Brent attended Faulkner State Community College and The University of South Alabama. He has worked in the lumber business for 30 years as well as dabbled in the Pipe and Valve Industry for the past four years. He has been married for 24 years and has three children. Brent enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, fishing and hunting, and watching college football on Saturdays.
Trey is a Lufkin native with a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M. His family owned and operated Angelina Hardwood Sales Company for more than 60 years before combining companies with Overseas Hardwood Company to create OHC Lufkin. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons/daughter-in-laws and two grandsons.
Therese joined her father at OHC in 1983 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Art. Surprisingly, both majors and a Masters of Liberal Arts have served her well at OHC in various areas of business administration including financial, human resources, systems and data design. She enjoys spending time with her family when away from work and continues to indulge her interest in the arts.
Gregory spent his first decade with OHC traveling to South America developing the supply side of OHC’s Outdoor Living business. Besides his continued purchasing and development trips to South America and Asia, he also runs the manufacturing facility. Away from work he likes hunting and fishing with his family of four, and supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Bill is an empathetic, passion-filled person. In all aspects of his life, from family to work, Bill challenges himself to be the mentor of mentors, bringing significant “firsts” into people’s lives. Aside from spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, he’s also an avid sports fan and fisher and enjoys volunteering his time to help others.
Luckett spent the first 17 years of his career practicing law and is a “recovering lawyer” according to his friends in the legal world. He enjoys spending time with his wife, their five children, and two bird dogs. His hobbies include bird hunting, fishing, and Alabama football. Luckett also devotes his free time working for the board of St. Paul’s Episcopal School.
Lee joined the company in 1986 after a brief stint on active duty with the US Army in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. His entrance into the lumber world was activated by completing a National Hardwood Lumber Association Hardwood Inspection course. Since then he’s worked at OHC in many capacities in management, sales and procurement. Lee is married with three daughters and enjoys travel and spending time at the Robinson family summer house at Point Clear, AL.
Jimmy Cowart is a US Navy veteran, great-grandfather and ordained minister. He enjoys woodworking, cooking, and creative projects. He’s involved in Santa outreach and Road Riders for Jesus motorcycle ministries.
Beth is a fun loving individual with zest for life! When not traveling for OHC, Beth can be found planning her next adventure, soaking up the sun on the beach or spending time with her family.
Mary is a free spirit who spends much of her time with family. She loves giving time and resources to anyone in need. When not putting others first, she can be found reading a book, watching movies, enjoying live music or dancing the night away with friends. Her ultimate goal is to eventually wake up every morning to the sound of waves crashing the shore.
When not manning the central hub of OHC sales, she is a true “sweeper,” beating the odds at sweepstakes by winning cash, new technology and vacations to far-off places. She’s also a self-proclaimed “cat lady,” with a beloved collection of cats and one dog.
Laurie has a Bachelor’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has worked at the Lufkin location for more than 30 years. She and her husband love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
Janel is a Plant Facilitator at OHC Stockton. She has 20 years experience in the manufacturing field. She also helps out with our Safety Program and is a member of our BMP (Best Management Practices) Team. Janel loves going to the beach with her family and watching her daughter play softball.
