When this family decided it was time to rebuild the pier at their home in Point Clear, Alabama, they knew they needed to create a warm welcoming space where many summer days would be spent with family and friends with our prefinished soffit. The tiered structure provides plenty of shaded space to relax out of the sun, a section extending out where children can fish and catch crabs, and storage for life jackets and tackle. OHC provided the ProCoated® Ipe used for the railing and storage closet, as well as our ProCoated® White Gray Wash Southern Yellow Pine (Coastal Color) for the prefinished soffit used throughout. The end result, an elegant welcoming space where many cherished memories will be made for countless summers to come.
